WE MEDIA
We Media is an organization which represents the social, economic and political interests of the handicapped. They wanted visually arresting images of their constituents in real, everyday settings. This required finding more than 50 handicapped persons in each category (visual, aural and motor impaired). There are no talent agencies for these demographics, so Take Stock searched schools, offices, sports and community centers. It was a difficult, but very rewarding and educational casting that included karaoking with the blind, watching wheelchair basketball, and getting tipsy with the folks from the deaf school. The only regret was not being able to shoot every great person casted!
